I just woke up from a Sunday nap. My daughter is in her room doing her homework — or not doing her homework. My wife is in the shower. A fresh pot of coffee is brewing. A band is playing in a yard down the street: “Love The One You’re With”.
Can life be any better than it is RIGHT NOW?
At this moment?
At any moment?
Can it?
No matter what you’re going through — and most of us are almost always going through SOMETHING — no matter what your circumstances are, or what your situation is, or what you think hasn’t happened yet in your life that should have happened, can life REALLY be any better than it is at this very moment?
Or at any given moment?
It really can’t.
Look out the window.
The sky is blue.
Or maybe it’s raining but the sound of the rain on the roof is beautiful.
Or maybe it’s just gray but even in its grayness there is something beautiful and unique about it.
There are likely trees or flowers in view.
Maybe you have people you love and who love you living under the same roof. That’s wonderful.
